NATIONAL CLEANLINESS CAMPAIGN UNDER SWACCH BHARAT MISSIONREPORT CARD

 

LIST OF ACTIVITIES UNDER PHASE

 

Ø01/10/2015

 

Walkathon was organized at 16-00 hrs, from DRMs office building to Bangalore city railway station covering all Platforms under the leadership of DRM.

 

Around 300 people participated in the walkathon including volunteers from Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation

 

 

Ø02/10/2015

 

An intensive cleanliness campaign was organized at 41 stations over Bangalore Division.Shri P C Mohan, Hon’ble MP at Bangalore and Hon. MP Nimmala Kristappa at Hindupur administered the Swacch Bharat pledge and participated in Shramdhan along with volunteers.

At Bangalore City Station, around 500 to 700 volunteers from Nirankari Foundation & Scouts and Guides were involved in cleaning activities from 7 hrs onwards. Also Street plays were organized highlighting the importance of safety and cleanliness in railway stations.

A press interaction was also organized.

 

Ø05/10/2015

 

A seminar on “Cleanliness” was organized at DRM’s MeetingHall, Bangalore

After introductory lectures by CMS and ACMS/Admin, leading multinational companies in the cleaning industry participated and gave a Demo on various aspects of Sanitation / cleaning.

These companies/organizations also organized display with live demo of their latest equipments and cleaning materials.

Around 100 members including officers and supervisory staff of SBC Division attended the aboveseminar
