(on 50:50 cost sharing basis between  Rly and Gok / GoAP)



      1. This section falls in 2 States i.e AP (94 km) and Karnataka (113 km) respectively.

      2. Foundation Stone for commencement of the project was laid by Hon’ble MR in Oct.2011 at Rayadurga in the august presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of A.P.Track linking have been completed for 56 km. between Rayadurga-Avaludatla-Kalyanadurga- Kadiridevarapalli (ex.).

      3. The work could not start in Karnataka State due to non-handing over of land by GoK.

    • CRS inspection was done on 15/16.12.16 between Rayadurga-Kalyanadurga (40 km) and authorization received on 22.12.16. The section was commissioned for passenger traffic as “One Train only” system of working on 30.12.16 by Hon’ble Minister for Railways through Remote video link from New Delhi, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh through video link from Vijayawada with local public representatives (Hon’ble Member of Parliament/Anantapur, MLAs and MLCs) participating in the function at Rayadurga.

    • CRS inspection for the other block section between Kalayanadurga-Kadiridevarapalli (23 km) was done on 21.03.17 and authorization received on 28.03.2017.The section was commissioned for passenger traffic as ‘One Train only System’ with the run of special passenger train on 31.03.2017.
