Railway Hospital /Mysore   is a secondary level care hospital catering to the health needs of serving employees & beneficiaries. It is a 101 bedded hospital, located at Yadavagiri, KRS Road, Mysore and distance from MYS Railway Station is about 2.5 KM.  

            Medical Department of Mysuru Division consists of

· Divisional Railway Hospital/ Mysuru (RH/MYS) and Six health units in Mysuru Division at following places:-

1.      Health Unit Ashokapuram, Mysuru South (HU/AP)

2.      Health unit Arsikere (HU/ASK)

3.      Health Unit Shivamogga (HU/SMET)

4.      · Health Unit   Sakaleshpura  ( HU/SKLR)

5.      Health Unit Kabaka puttur ( HU/KBPR)

6.      Health Unit Harihara ( HU/HRR) and

 Lock Up Dispensary Chikka Jajur (HU/JRU) –

MEDICAL SERVICES:

Railway Hospital/MYS   is having a well-equipped Casualty, Medical Ward, Surgical Ward, Female Ward, Children Ward, Labour Room, ICU and Cabins, twin Operation Theatre, Central Oxygen & Suction system, Radiology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy unit, Round the clock Ambulance Services Kitchen& staff canteen.

Following  IRHS Specialists are available:-

 Physician, Ophthalmologist, Pathologist,  Anesthetist and Dentist.

Beneficiaries: - Providing comprehensive health care needs for serving employees, retired employees and their family members, totalling approximately 59000 beneficiaries. 

And also beneficiaries of SBC and UBL division  are availing  medical  facilities at  RH/MYS.

            In addition to curative services, Preventive and Promotive care , emergency services for traveling public, accident preparedness, Medical examination at recruitment and periodically during service, and services as per statuary conditions such as WCA Act / FSSAA Act / Factories Act etc are provided.
