Continuation of temporary stoppage of trains

South Western Railway has extended the temporary stoppages for the following trains at their respective stations for a further period of six months. These stoppages, which were earlier introduced o­n experimental basis, will now remain in effect from 1st July 2025 to 31st December 2025.The details of the continued temporary halts are as follows:


1.Train Nos. 16595/16596 KSR Bengaluru–Karwar–KSR Bengaluru Panchaganga Daily Express will continue to provide a temporary stoppage at Kunigal.


2.Train Nos. 16239/16240 Chikkamagaluru–Yesvantpur–Chikkamagaluru Daily Express will continue to stop at Sampige Road.


3.Train No. 16228 Talguppa–Mysuru Daily Express will continue to halt at Malleshwaram.


4.Train Nos. 16315/16316 Mysuru–Thiruvananthapuram North–Mysuru Daily Express will continue to stop at Maddur.


5.Train Nos. 66587/66588 Bengaluru Cantt–Kolar–Bengaluru Cantt MEMU, 66511/66512 Marikuppam–KSR Bengaluru–Marikuppam MEMU, 66534 Krishnarajapuram–Kuppam MEMU, and 66529 Kuppam–KSR Bengaluru MEMU will all continue their stoppages at Maralahalli.


6.Train No. 66553 KSR Bengaluru–Ashokapuram MEMU will continue to halt at Krishnadevaraya Halt.


7.Train Nos. 66519/66520 Marikuppam–KSR Bengaluru–Marikuppam MEMU will continue stoppages at Devangonthi.


8.Train No. 16521 Bangarapet–KSR Bengaluru MEMU will also continue to halt at Devangonthi.
