Diversion, Rescheduling & Regulation of trains
Southern Railway has notified the diversion, Rescheduling and regulation of the following trains due to Fixed Time Corridor Blocks on Salem, Thiruvananthapuram Central, Tiruchchirappalli divisions.
Train No. 12678 Ernakulam – KSR Bengaluru Intercity Daily Express, journey commencing on August 8, 10, 15, 17, 24, 28 & September 2, 2025, will be diverted to run via Podanur, Irugur & Surathkal stations. The train will skip stoppage at Coimbatore and will instead have an additional stoppage at Podanur with Coimbatore timings.
Train No. 16231 Cuddalore Port – Mysuru Daily Express, journey commencing on August 20, 2025, will be rescheduled by 50 minutes from Cuddalore Port.
Train No. 16316 Thiruvananthapuram North - Mysuru Daily Express, journey commencing on August 23, 2025 will be regulated enroute for 35 minutes over Southern Railway.
