SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY

Press Release No. 163 dt 13.08.2025

Extension of Periodicity of Hubballi–Rameswaram Weekly Express Special with Short-Termination at Ramanathapuram

Railway Board has approved the extension of periodicity of Train Nos. 07355/07356 SSS Hubballi – Rameswaram – SSS Hubballi Weekly Express Special, with short termination at Ramanathapuram instead of Rameswaram, due to operational constraints over Southern Railway. The train will continue to run with the existing composition, timings, and stoppages.

Train No. 07355 SSS Hubballi – Rameswaram Weekly Express Special, earlier notified to run up to 30th August 2025, will now be extended to run up to 27th September 2025 for four trips, with its destination curtailed to Ramanathapuram. Similarly, Train No. 07356 Rameswaram – SSS Hubballi Weekly Express Special, earlier notified up to 31st August 2025, will now run from 7th September to 28th September 2025 for four trips, originating from Ramanathapuram instead of Rameswaram.
