The following Travel advisory have issued for rail passengers by the government of Goa and Delhi to prevent the spread of Covid – 19 as detailed below: -

1.  Travel advisory for Railway passenger by the Goa Government:

As per direction of Goa Government, it has been directed that no passengers are permitted entry in to the Goa State unless they possess a Covid negative certificate within 72 hrs from the time seek entry into State.

Inter-state movement for tourists from 10thMay o­nwards has been prohibited except for people who are residents of Goa or are entering Goa for work, or who have with RT- PCR NEGATIVE TEST report, for test done within 72 hours of entry in Goa State or full (2 doses) vaccination certificate.

The following categories of people are exempted from the above requirement.

(a)  Residents of Goa, o­n production of proof of residence.

(b)  Persons entering in Goa for work, o­n production of work ID proof or letter from employer

(c)  Persons entering in Goa for a medical emergency, o­n production of proof or coming in ambulance.

2.  Travel advisory for Railway passenger by the Delhi Government:

A virulent variant of COVID-19 is reported to have been found recently in the State of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and this new strain of COVID-19 has a shorter incubation period with high transmission rate and the progress of disease is much more rapid in this strain and therefore, additional precautionary measures in respect of the persons coming from the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to NCT of Delhi through Airlines/Trains/Buses/Cars/Trucks or any other mode of transportation are required to be taken in public interest with the objective that this new virulent strain of Covid – 19 should not enter and transmit in to the territory of NCT of Delhi. The following advisory should must be followed by the Railway passengers as detailed below: -

(a)  All persons arriving from the State of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in NCT of Delhi by Airlines/Trains/Buses/Cars/Trucks or any other mode of transportation shall have to undergo mandatory Government institutional quarantine I paid quarantine for 14 days at facilities established / identified by the concerned District Magistrate.

(b)  Any person who has been successfully vaccinated (two doses) and produces certificate to the effect or having negative RT-PCR Report (not older than 72 hours prior to undertaking the journey shall be allowed home quarantine for 7 days. If no suitable facility for home quarantine is available with the person, he/ she may opt for institutional / paid quarantine indentified facilities for 7 days.

In case of non-compliance of the protocol/ guidelines / SOPs pertaining to home quarantine prescribed by MoHFW, Gol / Department of H&FW, GNCTD, such persons shall be quarantined in Government institutional facilities for 7 days.

All Passengers are requested to adhere strictly to Covid -19 norms of Central / State Government: wear mask, sanitize hands frequently and maintain social distancing. An earnest cooperation is requested from all in the fight against Covid -19.
