THE FIFTH OXYGEN EXPRESS WILL REACH  ICD WHITEFIELD, BENGALURU TOMORROW

Seamless transportation of essential commodities by Indian Railways has been largely responsible for maintaining the supply chains across the country intact despite the crisis brought by the Covid-19 pandemic. Movement of essential commodities, medical oxygen, perishables etc. round-the-clock have been helped the people of various part of the country.

The Fifth Oxygen Express is o­n the way to Karnataka from Tatanagar, Jharkhand. This Oxygen Express train is expected to reach ICD Whitefield, Bengaluru at 03.00 am tomorrow (20.05.2021). It had started from Tatanagar, Jharkhand o­n 18.05.2021.The train is carrying 8 Cryogenic Containers containing 160 Tonnes LMO (Liquid Medical Oxygen).

Till now 480 Tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen has been transported from Jharkhand and Odisha to Karnataka.
