SWARNAA GROUP DONATES FIVE OXYGEN
CONCENTRATORS TO RAILWAY CENTRAL HOSPITAL
HUBBALLI
Today i.e 28.05.2021, Hubballi Division of South Western Railway has received five Oxygen Concentrators of 10 Litres Per Minute Flow Capacity each by Shri VSV Prasad, MD of Swarnaa Group for the use of Railway Hospital Hubballi. These Oxygen Concentrators are imported from Germany.
Swarnaa Group has donated these five Oxygen Concentrators under CSR initiative. Dr Vilas Gunda, Principal Chief Medical Director, SWR; Shri Harishankar Verma, Principal Chief Operations Manager, SWR; Shri Aravind Malkhede, Divisional Railway Manager, Hubballi Division were present on the occasion.
While receiving the Oxygen Concentrators for the Railway Hospital, Dr Vilas Gunda, thanked Shri VSV Prasad, MD of Swarnaa Group, for his contribution and said that it will help the Railways, Railway Men and public at large to tide over Covid crisis. The Hospital treats railway staff who are at the forefront in maintaining supply chain of essential commodities even during lockdown.
Railway Hospital at Hubballi is a designated Covid Hospital and has been treating the Covid patients since 2020. It has treated more than 1500 Covid patients so far including non-Railway beneficiaries.
General Manager, SWR Shri Gajanan Mallya has appreciated the gesture of Shri VSV Prasad, Swarnaa Group in coming forth to contribute these equipments at the time of need of the Railway Hospital.
