THREE MORE OXYGEN EXPRESSES REACHED TO ICD WHITEFIELD, BENGALURU AND onE on THE WAY TO KARNATAKA
Indian Railways continuously maintaining the supply chains across the country intact despite the crisis brought by the Covid-19 pandemic. Movement of essential commodities, medical oxygen, perishables etc. round-the-clock have been helped the people of various part of the country.
Three more Oxygen Expresses have reached Inland Container Depot, Whitefield, Bengaluru and one is on the way to Karnataka as detailed below: -
The 20th Oxygen Express has reached Inland Container Depot, Whitefield, Bengaluru at 08:25 pm yesterday (31.05.2021). It had started from Rourkela, Odisha on 30.05.2021 at 04.15 pm. This Oxygen Express has carried 85.07 Tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen by 4 Cryogenic Containers.
The 21st Oxygen Express has reached Inland Container Depot, Whitefield, Bengaluru at 02:40 am today (01.06.2021). It had started from Tatanagar, Jharkhand on 30.05.2021 at 08.45 pm. This Oxygen Express has carried 120 Tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen by 6 Cryogenic Containers.
The 22nd Oxygen Express has reached Inland Container Depot, Whitefield, Bengaluru at 08:15 am today (01.06.2021). It had started from Raigad, Maharashtra on 31.05.2021 at 01.33 pm. This Oxygen Express has carried 119.64 Tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen by 6 Cryogenic Containers.
So far, Karnataka has received 2561.24 Tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen by Rail. Indian Railways has so far run 321 Oxygen Expresses and transported more than 21939 Tonnes of Liquid Medical Oxygen in 1304 tankers to all over the country and bring relief to 15 states in their fight against Covid -19.
The 23rd Oxygen Express is on the way to Karnataka from Kanalus, Jamnagar, Gujarat. It has started at 10:45 am yesterday (31.05.2021) and expected to reach Inland Container Depot, Whitefield, Bengaluru at 06.00 pm today (01.06.2021). The train is carrying 6 Cryogenic Containers containing 112.39 Tonnes Liquid Medical Oxygen.
