MINISTRY OF RAILWAY UPGRADES PAY STRUCTRRRE OF CERTAIN GROUP – C SUPERVISORY CADRES
Ministry of Railway upgraded the pay structure of supervisory cadre of certain Group – C employees with approval by Ministry of Finance. With this decision, on getting the upgraded pay scale, the salary of the employees will be increased up to Rs. 4000 There can be an increase of Rs.2500 to Rs.4000, per month in the salary. This will be effected from 01.12.2022.
The Supervisory cadre employees of Indian Railways will be able to get grade pay up to Level 09 as per 7th pay commission. Till now, Grade Pay up to Level 07 was admissible to the employees of supervisory cadre on Indian Railways.
Grade pay of Group – A, officers start from level 09. The supervisory cadre includes supervisory staff of various departments including engineering, signal, electrical, mechanical, stores department's senior section engineer, station master, who will be able to get grade pay up to level 09.
General Manager of South Western Railway, Shri Sanjeev Kishore said that about 1500 supervisory employees working in South Western Railway will be benefitted by this decision taken in the interest of the employees.
