'LITTLE OAKS' CRECHE AT RAIL SOUDHA, RENOVATED
Shri Sanjeev Kishore, General Manager, South Western Railway, today opened renovated crèche at Rail Soudha, Hubballi.
Under the aegis of South Western Railway Women's Welfare Organization (SWRWWO), the two-room centre has been developed. There is facility to take care of children from eight-months to seven-years of age.
Creche includes a women's restroom, a toilet, a separate room for breastfeeding, and a vending machine for sanitary pads. Further clean drinking water for kids, hot water, toys, a cradle, well-placed beds, smart TV, and colourful educative graphics on every wall, have been provided. The creche includes three babysitters. The facility has benefited women who work in the railway department: Now there are 15 kids, who are beneficiaries of this initiative
