RPF RETURNS LOST LUGGAGE TO RIGHTFUL OWNER
On 11.07.2023, a passenger Shri Mohandas, resident of Bagalkot - who was travelling in Tr. No 16535 Mysuru-Solapur Express reported that his suitcase fell off the train between Guledgudda and Bagalkot stations.
After a meticulous search, the lost luggage was discovered alongside the railway track between Guledagudda Road– Bagalkot Railway stations by RPF. The suitcase, containing four silk sarees, attires, and important documents worth Rs. 30,000 was brought to the RPF office, Bagalkot and was handed over to the rightful owner. The timely response of the diligent RPF staff ensured that the passenger's cherished possessions were found and returned. Shri S.T. Barki, Sub-Inspector, RPF and Shri M.K. Wali, Constable, RPF played an important role in finding and returning the precious belonging to the rightful owner.
