I.SWR REGISTERS EXCELLENT FREIGHT LOADING AND REVENUE TILL AUGUST 2023 THIS FINANCIAL YEAR
From April to August -2023: -
·SWR loaded 19.27 million tons of originating freight and earned Rs. 1909.77 crores of revenue.
·SWR loaded 8.27 million tons of Iron Ore which is 37.6% more than the corresponding period of last year.
·SWR loaded 270 Automobile rakes which is 52.5% more than the corresponding period of last year
·SWR has loaded an average of 1991 Wagons per day which is 8 % more than the corresponding period of last year.
South Western Railway has recorded 19.27 million tons originating freight loading up to August this financial year which is 9.4% higher than the loading registered corresponding period of last year.
By loading of 8.27 million tons Iron Ore, 3.45 million tons Steel, 0.87 million tons Mineral Oil, 0.49 million tons Fertilizer, 270 Automobile rakes, the zone has earned Rs. 1909.77 crores of freight revenue which is 13.9% higher than the revenue earned during corresponding period of last year.
II.MYSURU DIVISION BAGGED CASH PRIZE BY RAILWAY BOARD
IN FREIGHT LOADING
·Mysuru Division has loaded 3.12 million tons of originating freight during April to July this year which is nearly 21% more than corresponding period of last year.
·Ministry of Railway gave the cash prize to Mysuru Division for this achievement.
Mysuru Division has loaded 3.12 million tons of originating freight during April to July 2023 which is 2.58 million tons, nearly 21% more than corresponding period of last year.
Ministry of Railway has appreciated this achievement of Mysuru Division, South Western Railway and gave a cash prize of Rs. 1.5 lakh.
General Manager, Shri Sanjeev Kishore has appreciated the excellent performance and achievement of cash price of Mysuru Division in loading of originating freight. He has expressed confidence of registering high loading further in South Western Railway.
