SWR RELEASED NEW WORKING TIME TABLE TODAY
Shri Sanjeev Kishore, General Manager, South Western Railway released the new working time table no. 20 of South Western Railway today at Rail Sodha, Hubballi.
The Working Time Table (WTT) is a schedule in a table form, showing details of arrivals and departures at every station of all trains carrying passengers of the SWR zone.
The Working Time Table (WTT) acts a guide to the railway staff
1.In arranging crossings and precedence of running trains, receipt and despatch of trains at terminals.
2.Provision of motive power, crew, maintenance of tracks and other assets of railways.
3.a data base for calculating the requirements of rolling stock; locomotives and running staff in train operations and
4.Contains a number of safety related instructions, to be followed by railway staff.
Shri Sanjeev Kishore, General Manager, SWR stated that the WTT will act as a 'ready - reckoner cum guide' to railway staff and officers in Control Office as well as field in optimal utilization of assets and enhancement of efficiency in railway operations.
Shri B Prashanth Kumar, Principal Chief Operations Manager, Shri H.M. Dinesh, Chief Passenger Transportation Manager, Shri N. Rajkumar, Dy. Chief Operations Manager, Shri Kuldeep, Dy. General Manager, Shri Sunil G, Secretary to General Manger, Shri B.L.
