SWR TO RUN SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN SMVT BENGALURU AND BHAGAT-KI-KOTHI FOR DEEPAVALI FESTIVAL

SWR has decided to run two special trains for three round trips between Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) Bengaluru and Bhagat-Ki-Kothi stations to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Deepavali/Chhath Festivals.

 

1.Train No.06217/06218 SMVT Bengaluru–Bhagat-Ki-Kothi–SMVT Bengaluru Special Express will run three trips via Ballari Cantt and Hubballi

 

Train No. 06217 SMVT Bengaluru–Bhagat-Ki-Kothi Special Express leaves SMVT Bengaluru at 16.30 hrs o­n 9th, 16th, and 23rd of November 2023 (Thursdays) to reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 11:00 hrs o­n the third day (Saturdays).

 

In the return direction, Train No. 06218 Bhagat Ki Kothi-SMVT Bengaluru Special Express leaves Bhagat Ki Kothi at 06:30 hrs o­n 12th, 19th, and 26th of November 2023 (Sundays) and reaches its destination, SMVT Bengaluru at 02:30 hrs o­n the third day (Tuesdays).

 

Enroute, the special trains will make stoppages at the following stations in both directions: Tumakuru, Arsikere, Kadur, Chikjajur, Chitradurg, Rayadurg, Ballari Cantt., Tornagallu, Hosapete, Koppal, Gadag, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Londa, Belagavi, Ghatprabha, Miraj, Satara, Pune, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Jawai Bandh, Falna, Marwar, Pali Marwar and Luni.

 

The special train will have a composition of 1-AC Two Tier Coach, 13-AC Three Tier Coaches and 2-Luggage cum Brake Van coaches.

 

2.Train No.06219/06220 SMVT Bengaluru–Bhagat-Ki-Kothi–SMVT Bengaluru Special Express will make three trips via Arsikere and Hubballi:

 

Train No. 06219 SMVT Bengaluru–Bhagat Ki Kothi Special Express leaves SMVT Bengaluru at 16.30 hrs o­n 11th, 18th, and 25th of November 2023 (Saturdays) to reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 11:50 hrs o­n the third day (Mondays).

 

In the return direction, Train No. 06220 Bhagat Ki Kothi-SMVT Bengaluru Special Express leaves Bhagat Ki Kothi at 23:00 hrs o­n 13th, 20th, and 27th of November 2023 (Mondays) and reaches its destination, SMVT Bengaluru at 14:45 hrs o­n the third day (Wednesdays).

 

Enroute, the special trains will make stoppages at the following stations in both directions: Tumakuru, Arsikere, Kadur, Davangere, Ranibennur, SMM Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Londa, Belagavi, Ghatprabha, Miraj, Satara, Pune, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Jawai Bandh, Falna, Marwar, Pali Marwar and Luni.

 

The special train will consist of 4-AC Two Tier Coaches, 14-AC Three Tier Economy Coaches, and 2-Generator car cum Brake Van coaches.

Note: Linen & bedroll will not be provided in these trains. Passengers traveling o­n these trains are requested to make their own arrangements for their comfort and convenience during their journey.
