I.CANCELLATION OF TRAINS
Southern Railway has notified for the cancellation of the following trains due to mega line blocks planned for additional platforms at Mangaluru Central Railway Station (Stage-III works) over Southern Railway as per details mentioned below: -
1.Train No. 06487/06486 Mangaluru Central – Kabakaputtur – Mangaluru Central Express Special commencing journey from both sides on 24.11.2023 will be cancelled.
2.Train No. 06485/06484 Mangaluru Central – Kabakaputtur – Mangaluru Central Express Special commencing journey from both sides on 25.11.2023 will be cancelled.
II.PARTIAL CANCELLATION OF TRAINS
Southern Railway has notified for partial cancellation of following trains due to Line Block and Power Block for commissioning of remodeling of Kanyakumari yard as per details mentioned below: -
1.Train No. 16526 KSR Bengaluru – Kanyakumari Express commencing journey from KSR Bengaluru from 25.11.2023 to 01.12.2023 & 03.12.2023 will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil and Kanyakumari. Accordingly, this train will be short terminated at Nagercoil instead of Kanyakumari.
2.Train No. 16526 KSR Bengaluru – Kanyakumari Express commencing journey from KSR Bengaluru on 02.12.2023 will be partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Kanyakumari. Accordingly, this train will be short terminated at Thiruvananthapuram Central instead of Kanyakumari.
3.Train No. 16525 Kanyakumari – KSR Bengaluru Express commencing journey on 04.12.2023 will be partially cancelled between Kanyakumari and Thiruvananthapuram Central. Accordingly, this train will be originated from Thiruvananthapuram Central instead of Kanyakumari.
III.TEMPORARY STOPPAGE OF TRAINS
Southern Railway has notified for providing one-minute temporary stoppage for the following trains at Varkala Station from 30.12.2023 to 01.01.2024 in view of Sivagiri Theerthadanam festival as per details mentioned below: -
1.Train No. 16316 Kochuveli – Mysuru Express commencing journey from 30.12.2023 to 01.01.2024 will arrive / depart Varkala Station 05:20/05:21 PM.
2.Train No. 16315 Mysuru – Kochuveli Express commencing journey from 29.12.2023 to 31.12.2023 will arrive / depart Varkala Station 07:50/07:51 AM.
