Partial Cancellation of Trains

SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY


                                            Press Release No. 478 Dt: 07.02.2024

I.Partial Cancellation of Trains Due to Track Maintenance Work

In view of the essential track maintenance work at Devanur, Ballekere halt, and Birur station yards, the following trains will be partially cancelled o­n specific dates, as detailed below:

1.On February 12th, 20th, 25th, March 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, and April 1st, 2024, Train No. 16214 SSS Hubballi-Arsikere Daily Express will be partially cancelled between Birur and Arsikere stations. The train will short terminate at Birur station instead of Arsikere.

2.On February 13th, 21st, 26th, March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, and April 2th, 2024, Train No. 16213 Arsikere-SSS Hubballi Daily Express will be partially cancelled between Arsikere & Birur stations. The train will originate from Birur station instead of Arsikere at its schedule time.

II.Partial Cancellation of Trains due to doubling work

In view of the o­ngoing doubling works in the Tirunelveli-Melappalaiyam section, Southern Railway has notified the partial cancellation for the following trains, with details as follows:

1.Train No. 17235 Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru-Nagercoil Daily Express, journey commencing from February 14 to 19, 2024, will be partially cancelled between Dindigul-Nagercoil stations. The train will short terminate at Dindigul instead of Nagercoil station.

2.Train No. 17236 Nagercoil-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Daily Express, journey commencing from February 15 to 20, 2024, will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil-Dindigul stations. The train will originate from Dindigul instead of Nagercoil station.


3.Train No. 11021 Dadar-Tirunelvelli Tri-weekly Express, journey commencing o­n February 17, 2024, will be partially cancelled between Virudunagar-Tirunelveli stations and it will short terminate at Virudunagar instead of Tirunelveli station.

4.Train No. 11022 Tirunelvelli-Dadar Tri-weekly Express, journey commencing o­n February 19, 2024, will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli-Virudunagar stations and it will originate from Virudunagar instead of Tirunelveli station.
