Extension of periodicity of summer special trains/Partial Cancellation / Diversion of trains

SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY

I.Extension of periodicity of summer special trains

The South East Central Railway has notified the extension of the periodicity of Train No. 08291/08292 Bilaspur-Yesvantpur-Bilaspur Bi-weekly Superfast Summer Special. These trains will now terminate/originate from Yelahanka instead of Yesvantpur for the extended period, as detailed below:

1.Train No. 08291 Bilaspur-Yelahanka Bi-weekly Superfast Summer Special will depart every Saturday and Tuesday from Bilaspur at 20:00 hrs and arrive at Yelahanka at 23:15 hrs the next day.

2.Train No. 08292 Yelahanka-Bilaspur Bi-weekly Superfast Summer Special will depart every Monday and Thursday from Yelahanka at 04:30 hrs and arrive at Bilaspur at 09:00 hrs the next day.

Passengers are requested to take advantage of this extended train services. For more information, passengers can visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in or download the NTES app to obtain arrival/departure timings for each stoppage.

II.Partial Cancellation / Diversion of trains

South Central Railway has notified for partial cancellation and diversion of the following trains due to traffic block for the commissioning of new loop line at Bommasamudram station in the Tirupati-Katpadi section.

Partial cancellation:

1.Train No. 22617 Tirupati-SMVT Bengaluru Tri-weekly Express will be partially cancelled between Tirupati and Katpadi stations o­n May 28, 2024.

2.Train No. 22618 SMVT Bengaluru-Tirupati Tri-weekly Express will be partially cancelled between Katpadi and Tirupati stations o­n May 27 and 29, 2024.

Diversion:

1.Train No. 12836 SMVT Bengaluru-Hatia Express, departing from SMVT Bengaluru o­n May 28 & 30, 2024, will be diverted to run via Katpadi, Melpakkam & Renigunta, skipping stoppages at Chittoor & Tirupati stations.

2.Train No. 12890 SMVT Bengaluru-Tatanagar Express, departing from SMVT Bengaluru o­n May 27, 2024, will be diverted to run via Katpadi, Melpakkam & Renigunta, skipping stoppage at Tirupati station.

3.Train No. 17210 Kakinada Town-SMVT Bengaluru Express, departing from Kakinada Town o­n May 29, 2024, will be diverted to run via Renigunta, Melpakkam & Katpadi, skipping stoppages at Tirupati, Pakala and Chittoor stations.
