Revision in composition of Express Trains/Conversion of trains with conventional rakes into LHB rakes/Diversion of trains

I.Revision in composition of Express Trains

Central Railway has notified for revision in the composition of Train No. 11139/11140 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Mumbai-Hosapete-CSMT Mumbai Superfast Daily Express. The details are as follows:

Train No. 11139/11140 CSMT Mumbai-Hosapete-CSMT Mumbai Superfast Express will run with revised composition effective from 26.06.2024 from CSMT Mumbai and from 27.06.2024 from Hosapete.

The revised coach composition will be First cum Second AC Class-1, AC Three Tier-2, AC Chair Car-2, Sleeper Class-6, General Second Class-2, Second Class Day Coach with sitting accommodation-4, Second Class cum luggage and brake van-1, and Second Class Coach with brake van/disabled-friendly compartment-1.

II.Conversion of trains with conventional rakes into LHB rakes

SWR has decided to convert the following trains from conventional rakes to Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) rakes. The details are as follows:

1.Train No. 12257 Yesvantpur-Kochuveli Tri-weekly Garib rath Express with effect from June 16, 2024.

2.Train No. 12258 Kochuveli-Yesvantpur Tri-weekly Garib rath Express with effect from June 17, 2024.

The revised coach composition will be 16 AC Three Tier Economy coaches and 2 brake, luggage cum generator cars.

III.Diversion of trains

South Central Railway has notified for diversion of following trains due to safety related works in Vijayawada division. The details are as follows:-

1.Train No. 12509 Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru-Guwahati Tri-weekly Superfast Express leaving from SMVT Bengaluru o­n June 26 and July 03,05,10,12,17,19,24, & 26, 2024 will be diverted to run via Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram Town and Nidadavolu stations.

2.Train No. 18111 Tatanagar-Yesvantpur Weekly Express, leaving from Tatanagar o­n June 27 and July 04,11,18 & 25, 2024 will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada and Vijayawada stations, skipping stoppage at Eluru station.

 

3.Train No. 18637 Hatia-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Weekly Express, leaving from Hatia o­n June 29 and July 06,13,20 & 27, 2024 will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada and Vijayawada stations.

4.Train No. 12835 Hatia–Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Bi-weekly Superfast Express, leaving from Hatia o­n June 25, 30 and July 02, 07, 09, 14, 16, 21, 23 & 28, 2024 will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada and Vijayawada stations.

5.Train No. 12889 Tatanagar–Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Weekly Superfast Express, leaving from Tatanagar o­n June 28 and July 05,12,19 & 26, 2024 will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada and Vijayawada stations.
