Cancellation of special trains between Bengaluru-Pandharpur/ Extension of cancellation of trains/Temporary Diversion of Intercity Express/Temporary Diversion / Restoration of Train Services

SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY

I.Cancellation of special trains between Bengaluru-Pandharpur

The following special trains, previously scheduled to run between Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru and Pandharpur stations, will be cancelled due to poor occupancy:

 

1.Train No. 06295 SMVT Bengaluru-Pandharpur Special Express, is cancelled o­n July 5 and 7, 2024.

 

2.Train No. 06296 Pandharpur-SMVT Bengaluru Special Express, is cancelled o­n July 6 and 8, 2024.

3.Train No. 06297 SMVT Bengaluru-Pandharpur Special Express, is cancelled o­n July 6, 2024.

4.Train No. 06298 Pandharpur-SMVT Bengaluru Special Express, is cancelled o­n July 7, 2024.

II.Extension of cancellation of trains

In view of o­ngoing safety-related works in Guntur division, South Central Railway notified the extension of cancellations for the following trains:

 

1.Train No. 17329 SSS Hubballi-Vijayawada Daily Express will remain cancelled up to July 31, 2024, which was earlier notified for cancellation up to July 14, 2024.

 

2.Train No. 17330 Vijayawada-SSS Hubballi Daily Express will remain cancelled up to August 1, 2024, which was earlier notified for cancellation up to July 15, 2024.

III.Temporary Diversion of Intercity Express

Southern Railway has notified the diversion of the following trains due to safety-related works in Salem division. The diverted trains are as follows:

 

1.Train No. 12678 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Intercity Express, departing from Ernakulam o­n July 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, and 30, 2024, will be diverted via Podanur Junction, Irugur, and Surathkal stations, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Coimbatore. This train will  provide an additional stoppage at Podanur Junction o­n the diverted route.

 

2.Train No. 12677 KSR Bengaluru-Ernakulam Intercity Express, departing from KSR Bengaluru o­n July 7, 8, 10, 14, 15, 17, 21, 22, 24 & 28, 2024, will be diverted via Irugur & Podanur stations. skipping its scheduled stoppages at Coimbatore. This train will  provide an additional stoppage at Podanur Junction o­n the diverted route.

IV.Temporary Diversion / Restoration of Train Services

Due to safety-related works between KSR Bengaluru-Bengaluru Cantonment stations, the following train will be diverted as detailed below:

 

1.Train No. 11013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Coimbatore Daily Express, departing from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus o­n July 8, 2024, will be diverted to run via Gauribidanur, Baiyyappanahalli, SMVT Bengaluru, Baiyyappanahalli, and Hosur stations. skipping its scheduled stoppages at Bengaluru East, Bengaluru Cantonment, and KSR Bengaluru, This train will  provide an additional stoppage at SMVT Bengaluru o­n the diverted route.

 

This train, which was earlier notified to run o­n a diverted route (via Gauribidanur, Baiyyappanahalli, SMVT Bengaluru, Baiyyappanahalli, and Hosur stations) o­n July 9, 2024, has now been restored to run its normal path.
