Change in Composition of Express Trains/Continuation of Temporary Stoppage of Trains/Extension of periodicity of trains

I.Change in Composition of Express Trains

The coach composition of the following trains will be revised, effective from the dates mentioned below:

 

1.Train No. 12295/12296 SMVT Bengaluru-Danapur-SMVT Bengaluru Sanghamitra Daily Express:

 

One General Second Class Coach will be added in place of AC Three Tier Coach, effective from July 8, 2024, from SMVT Bengaluru and July 10, 2024, from Danapur. The revised coach composition will be as follows: Ist cum IInd AC-1,  AC Two Tier-2, AC Three Tier-5, Sleeper Class-7, Genral Second Class-4, Pantry Car-1, Parcel Van-1, Brake, luggage cum generator car-1 and SLRD-1.

 

2.Train No. 12251/12252 Yesvantpur-Korba-Yesvantpur Wainganga Bi-weekly Express:

 

Two General Second Class Coaches will be added in place of o­ne AC Three Tier Coach & o­ne Sleeper Class, effective from July 9, 2024, from Yesvantpur and July 11, 2024 from Korba. The revised coach composition will be as follows: First AC-1,  AC Two Tier-2, AC Three Tier-5, Sleeper Class-7, Genral Second Class-4, Pantry Car-1, and Brake, luggage cum generator car-2.

 

3.Train No. 12253/12254 SMVT Bengaluru-Bhagalpur-SMVT Bengaluru Anga Weekly Superfast Express:

 

One General Second Class Coaches will be added in place of o­ne AC Three Tier Coach, effective from July 13, 2024, from SMVT Bengaluru and July 17, 2024 from Bhagalpur. The revised coach composition will be as follows: First AC-1,  AC Two Tier-2, AC Three Tier-5, Sleeper Class-8, Genral Second Class-3, Pantry Car-1, and Brake, luggage cum generator car-2.

II.Continuation of Temporary Stoppage of Trains

The temporary o­ne-minute stoppages for Train Nos. 01771/01772 KSR Bengaluru-Marikuppam-KSR Bengaluru MEMU Special, and Train No. 16521 Bangarapet-KSR Bengaluru MEMU Express at Devangonthi station, will be continued from July 17 to September 30, 2024.

III.Extension of periodicity of trains

South Central Railway has notified the extension of the periodicity of Train No. 07153/07154 Narasapur-SMVT Bengaluru-Narasapur Weekly Express Special, which will continue to operate with the existing timings, stoppages, and composition. The details are as follows:


1.Train No. 07153 Narasapur-SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special, which was earlier notified to run up to June 28, 2024, is now extended up to July 26, 2024 for 4 trips.

 

2.Train No. 07154 SMVT Bengaluru-Narasapur Weekly Express Special, which was earlier notified to run up to June 29, 2024, is now extended up to July 27, 2024 for 4 trips.
