TIMETABLED PARCEL EXPRESS SPECIAL SERVICES
TO H. NIZAMUDDIN& DIMAPUR
South Western Railway will run following timetabled Parcel Express Special trains to transport essential commodities in view of COVID-19: -
Train Nos.00617 / 00618 Yesvantpur – Dimapur – Yesvantpur Parcel Express Special (Via Chennai): -
Train Nos.00617 Yesvantpur – Dimapur Parcel Express Special departs from Yesvantpur at 18.00 hrs on 11.04.2020 to arrive at Dimapur at 08.40 hrs on 14.04.2020.
In the return direction, Train No.00618 Dimapur – Yesvantpur Parcel Express Special departs from Dimapur at 21.00 hrs on 14.04.2020 to reach Yesvantpur at 14.00hrs on 17.04.2020.
The train will have commercial stoppages at Jolarpettai, MGR Chennai, Vijayawada,Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Kharagpur, Panskura, Mecheda, Howrah, BholpurShanthiniketan, Malda Town, Newjalpaiguri, Newbongaigaon, Guwahati & Lumding in both directions. Parcels can be loaded at all these stations.
The trains will have a composition of 5 parcel vans and 2 sitting-cum-luggage vans.
2. Train Nos.00619 / 00620Yesvantpur – H. Nizamuddin – Yesvantpur Parcel Express Special: -
Train Nos.00619Yesvantpur – H. Nizamuddin weekly Parcel Express Special departs from Yesvantpur at 13.00 hrs on 13.04.2020 to reach H. Nizamuddin at 13.00hrs on 15.04.2020.
In the return direction, Train No.00620 H. Nizamuddin – Yesvantpur weekly Parcel Special departs from H. Nizamuddin at 21.30 hrs on 15.04.2020 to reach Yesvantpur at 21.30hrs on 17.04.2020.
The trains will have commercial stoppages at at Tumakuru, Arsikere, Davanagere, Hubballi, Belagavi, Miraj, Satara, Pune, Manmad, Bhushawal, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Agra Cant., and Mathura in both directions. Parcels can be loaded at these stations.
The trains will have a composition of 5 parcel vans and 2 sitting-cum-luggage vans.
Train Nos.00605 Yesvantpur – H. Nizamuddin Weekly Parcel Express (Via Dharmavaram) of 13.04.2020 and Train No.00604 Yesvantpur – H. Nizamuddin Weekly Parcel Express (Via Dharmavaram) of 15.04.20202 are cancelledConsequent to the running of Train No.00619/00620 Yesvantpur – H. Nizamuddin – Yesvantplur Parcel Express (Via Tumakuru).
Booking of parcels is by point to point.However, commodities can be lodaded/unladed at en-route stations as per the requirement of customers.
The industrial houses companies, interest groups, NGOs and individuals are requested to avail this facility by registering their demand first and join Indian Railways with India’s fight against COVID-19
