AYUSHMAN BHARAT PRADHAN MANTRI JAN AROGYA YOJANAIMPLEMENTED IN SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAYHOSPITALS
Central Railway Hospital, Hubballi, Divisional Railway Hospital Bengaluru and Divisional Railway Hospital Mysuru have been empaneled for Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri – Jan Arogya Yojana.
The services/specialties available are General Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics in Central Railway Hospital, Hubballi and General Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology in Railway Hospital Bengaluru and Mysuru.
The beneficiary will be identified using Aadhar / Ration card or any other specified identification document produced by the beneficiary at the point of contact. This would undergo pre – authorization from the source state of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri – Jan Arogya Yojana beneficiary online.
Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri – Jan Arogya Yojana is the largest health assurance scheme in the world which aims at providing a health cover of Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization to over 10.74 crores poor and vulnerable families (approximately 50 crore beneficiaries) that form the bottom 40% of the Indian population. The households included are based on the deprivation and occupational criteria of Socio-Economic Caste Census 2011 (SECC 2011) for rural and urban areas respectively
Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri – Jan Arogya Yojana provides cashless access to health care services for the beneficiary at the point of service, that is, the hospital.
General public is eligible and are requested to avail the services at these hospitals, under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri – Jan Arogya Yojana.
