About the institution
The Vision of the institution is “Be the best and continue to improve” multi-disciplinary division training institute of Mysore Division is located at Ashoka Puram in Mysuru, headed and organising by Sr.DPO/MYS.This is one of the oldest institutions in SWR. The institute was established in the year 1999 as Basic Training Centre’ and subsequently named as multi-disciplinary division training institute from 2015. The geographical area of MDDTI/MYS comprises of 8400sqmt. The institute is enveloped by greens, breeze of various trees and plants and invigorated by peepingof birds.
It offers various courses in Mechanical and Operating department relevant to the current and projected needs of the Railway staff. Besides promoting safety and healthiness knowledge gained therefrom, it nurtures good cooperation between the academic and staff communities.
This institution was formed by bringing together and integrating Mechanical, Operating and personal department. This institution is having well fledged infrastructure Hostel for boys and Girls. Hostel can accommodate 56 staffs with solar water heater facilities. This intuition is having indoor as well asoutdoor games/sports in order to ensure physical as well as mental healthiness. Ethics is taking a primary role to this institution in addition to technical knowledge, physical and mental healthiness.
