Profile of Divisional Railway Manager

Shri Yogesh Mohan has taken over as Divisional Railway Manager, Bengaluru Division of South Western Railway. He is an officer of Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers of 1991 batch. He belongs to SCRA scheme and is a gold medalist in AMIE / Mechanical.

Before joining as Divisional Railway Manager, Bengaluru, he was working as Chief Workshop Manager/Gorakhpur in North Eastern Railway. He has rich experience of working in Western Railway, Research Designs & Standards Organization (RDSO), North Central Railway and North Eastern Railway. He has worked in 3 different Locomotive Sheds and Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) as head of the production wing.

He has undergone training in Advanced Vehicle Dynamic Simulation in Europe and USA, Advanced Management Course at INSEAD Singapore and Advanced Management Course at International Centre for Leadership in Finance (ICLIF), Malaysia. He has also executed projects related to locomotive export to Sri Lanka and Myanmar from Diesel Locomotive Works.
