CARRIAGE REPAIR WORKSHOP, HUBBALLI

The backbone of SWR for Maintenance & Repair Activities of Rolling Stock & its Components

125+ YEARS OF SERVICE

The important activities being carried out presently in the Workshop are Periodic overhauling of all types of coaches of SWR, KR and other Railways, conversion of coaches, Refurbishing of coaches and manufacture/POH of BVZI Brake Vans for Railways. UBLS is Manufacturing and suppliers of ICF type bogie frames for ICF, RCF, BPL and air spring suspension bogies for production units and other Railway Workshops. IOH of AC & Non AC coaches, Overhauling of DVs for divisions. Apart from this Bolsters, L.S. Beams, Body Bolsters are being manufactured for other sister Railway concerns. The Wheel shop caters to the ICF wheels requirement of different depots viz Hubli & SBC divisions and EMD sheds. Also supply of Wheels BOX N to Hubli & SBC division and machining of Wheel sets to BEML.
