Shri A.S.Rao has taken over the charge of Principal Chief Commercial Manager, South Western Railway on 15.12.2021. Before taking over the charge of the post of Principal Chief Commercial Manager, SWR, he was holding the charge of the post of Chief Traffic Planning Manager in South Central Railway, Secunderabed. He has done M.Sc from Andhra University.
An Officer of 1988 batch of Indian Railway Traffic Services joined Railways on 21.08.1989 in Bombay (Mumbai) Division, Central Railway. He has worked in various capacities viz. Chief Commercial Manager (Freight Services), Chief Freight Transportation Manager, Chief Traffic Planning Manager in South Western Railway.
Shri A.S Rao is overall in-charge of entire Commercial Department in South Western Railway.
