Category of trains Rly Bd Target April to March 2006-2007.
Mail / Express trains
95%( Railway Board Target)
97.2% (Achieved Target)
Passenger trains

92.6% (Achieved Target)
To cater to the growth in traffic a very large number of traffic facility works have to be planned and executed. The outlay and execution has, however, been seriously below the requirements, resulting in serious constraints like: -

? Line capacity constraints
? Terminal constraints
? Failures of track, resulting in speed restriction and hold up of traffic, etc.
