BRIEF INTRODUCTION ABOUT MEDICAL DEPARTMENT MYSURU DIVISION
Medical Department MYS Division consists of one Divisional Hospital at MYS and 06 Health units at Ashokapuram, ASK, SMET, HRR, SKLR & KBPR.
Railway Hospital /MYS is a secondary level care hospital catering to the health needs of serving employees, Retired employees & beneficiaries.
It is a 101 bedded hospital is having a well-equipped Casualty, Medical Ward, Surgical Ward, Female Ward, Children Ward, Labour Room, ICU and Cabins; twin Operation Theatre, Central Oxygen & Suction system, Radiology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy unit, Round the clock Ambulance Services & Kitchen. Specialists available in house are General Surgeon, Physician, Gynecologist, Ophthalmologist, ENT surgeon, Orthopedician, Pathologist and Dentist.
RH/MYS is 101 bedded hospital, all the 101 beds have been provided with Central Oxygen and Central Suction connections
Oxygen facilities :
a)PSA Oxygen Generator 500 LPM: commissioned at RH/MYSon 07/10/2021.
b)30 Nos. of 5 litres capacity & 26 Nos. of 10 ltrs. Capacity Oxygen concentrators available
c)Each Health Unit has been provided with B type oxygen cylinders and Oxygen Concentrators.
d)100 Nos. Jumbo& 256 Nos.B – type Oxygen cylinders & 6 ventilators available.
Cases to case basis consultants in the following specialties are available:
Radiologist, Anesthetist, Dentist, Cardiologist, Neurologist, Urologist, Pediatrician, Gastroenterologist, Plastic Surgeon &Oncologist.
HMIS Implementation : All major modules like OPD, pharmacy, Laboratory, Sick and Fit, Physiotherapy Unit, Injection room, QR code based OPD registration implemented at Railway Hospital/MYS and Health Units of MYS Division.
