The sections between Ginigera - Chikkabenakal (27 km) commissioned on 31.03.2017, Chikkabenakal - Gangavathi (13 km) commissioned on 04.03.2019 & Gangavathi - Karatagi (26 km) commissioned on 31.05.2022.

The section between Karatagi - Sindhanur (18.5 km) is targeted to be commissioned in July 2023.

Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) Tender called for section between Sindhanur – Hirekotengal (30 Km) on 22.03.2023 and is opening on 19.07.2023.

The work in the balance section is planned to be taken up under Engineering Procurement & Construction mode of tendering after handing over of 90% land by Government of Karnataka.
