Remarks:-
Originally the project was sanctioned between Bangalore - Satyamangalam (260 km). Permission was not granted by Tamilnadu Government as well as CEC to carry out survey in the Satyamangalam Forest Area. Hence project is now being taken up from Hejjala to Chamarajnagar (142 Kms). Land is yet to be given by State Govt.
Project kept under “ABEYANCE” vide Railway Board letter dated 23.10.2019.
