INTRODUCTION OF ELECTRICAL GENERAL


Maintenance of 35 Nos of Non-Traction Substations and other power supply installations, ensuring uninterrupted power supply to all associated Railway establishments of 134 Railway stations of SBC Division and all Level Crossing gates. Nodal Office for dealing with all proposals of Power line Crossings, Lifts, Escalators and Solar projects over SBC Divn. Issue of Safety Certificate to power line crossings and other new electrical installations after ensuring conformation with IE Rules and applicable Regulations. Ensuring power supply and lighting arrangements to Coaching Depots, Yards, Good shed, Railway Colonies etc.  

Primary maintenance of 1893 Nos (Coaches – 1777 Coaches / Power Cars – 116 Nos, Total – 84 rakes) and Secondary Maintenance of 352 coaches / Power Cars. Maintenance of Vande Bharath, AC Coaches, Non-AC Coaches and Power Cars at three coaching depots SBC, YPR and SMVB. Attention to PFTR trains and Pass-through trains. Co-Ordination with Workshop for Schedule POH/SS-2 and SS-3 activities. Primary Maintenance of ART and SPART coaches. Planning of HSD Oil for Power cars. Handling of RCD at SMVB.
