ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE BRANCH IN LAST 2-3 YEARS

1) Certificate of Meritwas awarded for RH/SBC from BEE on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day 2024 from BEE/NECA. The function was presided by Shri.Jagdeep Dhankar Hon’ble Vice President of India. This was the first time SBC Division has received award from Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) at National Energy Conservation Award (NECA) 2024

2) Shunya+ labelling has been received for Malugur (MLU) and Devarapalle (DPE) railway station building from Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE). This is 1st station buildings in SWR to receive Shunya+ labelling. It is first of its kind achievement of SBC Division.

     

 

 

 


3) 150kWp Solar installation has been commissioned and synchronized with DISCOM on 18.01.24 at Indian Railway Institute of Disaster Management (IRIDM) / HJL. With this, the one and only Railway Safety Village of Indian Railways gets completely powered through Solar. It is anticipated to generate 2.3 Lakh units per year. This is equivalent to 184 MTS of CO2 reduction and equivalent to planting 5520 Trees. Application has been submitted to BEE for Shunya+ certification.

10 Lifts (RMGM – 2 Nos, HSRA – 2 Nos, CPT – 2 Nos, SMVT – 3 Nos and KSR SBC Concourse – 1 Nos) and 09 Escalators (BWT – 3 Nos, MYA – 3 Nos, KSR SBC – 2 Nos, KGI – 1 Nos) have been commissioned at various stations over SBC Division to improve passenger swift movement across platforms.

750V Testing facilities have been commissioned at 9 Pitlines (SBC – 5 Nos and YPR – 4 Nos). With this all, the pitlines over SBC Division are equipped with 750V testing facilities thus promoting Green Energy and reducing Fossil fuel consumption.
