Shri Ashutosh K. Singh takes over as Divisional Railway Manager of Bengaluru Division
Shri Ashutosh K Singh has taken over as Divisional Railway Manager, Bengaluru Division of South Western Railway on 23.04.2025. He is an Officer of Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) of 1995 batch. He is a BE graduate of Electrical Engineering wing from IIT, Roorkee. He has strong professional record.
Shri Singh formerly worked as Chief Electrical Engineer at UPMRCL (Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited) before joining as Divisional Railway Manager, Bengaluru. He has also served in many Divisions and Zonal Headquarters in various capacities in Electrical department. He has vast experience in maintenance and Construction projects.
Prior to this, he worked for the Research Design and Standards Organization (RDSO) where he was a part of High-Speed projects which are being implemented in India.
He was also involved in the safety certification of Chennai Metro Rail Project, Kochi Metro Rail Project, Bengaluru Metro Rail Project, Delhi Metro Rail Project and UP Metro Rail Project.
He is a Certified Energy Auditor with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and has worked on several energy-saving projects for Railways.
He has been awarded at National Level for his outstanding service.
As regards training, apart from regular Railway training, he has attended a certificate course in Advanced Management from INSEAD Singapore.
