Shri Sam Prashanth J R has taken over the charge of Divisional Security Commissioner, Railway Protection Force, Mysuru Division, South Western Railway on 08.07.2024. Prior to this, Shri Sam Prashanth J R served as Addl. Private Secretary to Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs on deputation basis.
Born on 31stMarch 1986, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai.
Shri Sam Prashanth J R belongs to the 2015 Civil Service Examination batch ofIndian Railway Protection Force Service (IRPFS).
JURISDICTION:-
The jurisdiction of DSC/MYS is co-terminus with DRM/MYS i.e. MYS division is covering 12 civil districts viz. 1) Mysore 2) Chamarajanagar 3) Mandya 4) Dakshina Kannada 5) Hassan 6) Tumkur 7) Chikkamagalore 8) Shivamogga 9) Chithradurga 10) Davangere 11) Haveri 12) Bellari districts of Karnataka states covering 1123 kms.
