1.Sustained drives against touting activities in SWR: - During monthly review, special teams that are constituted to workout illegal selling of e-tickets and usage of illegal software by analysis of PRABAL Data/Surveillance etc. conducted raids at different travel agencies/agents engaged in touting activities over Karnataka & Goa and detected 20 cases with arrest of 20 touts U/S 143 of Railways Act and seized 51 No’s of live railway reserved tickets valued ₹ 73576.61/- and 152 No’s of used tickets valued ₹ 409528.28/-.
2.Patrolling by mobile teams (wherever deployed) in trains: - On an average 40 to 45 important/vulnerable Spl/Mail/Express trains are being escorted by 140 to 145 RPF personnel including women constables over SWR. RPF personnel deployed for escorts ensured safety and security of passengers duly patrolling through the coaches in trains and interacting with passengers. Besides, keep watch on passengers carrying hazardous articles.
3.Meri Saheli: - To ensure maximum safety and security of women passengers on trains, Railway Protection Force (RPF) has launched the pilot project ‘Operation Meri Saheli’ in the month of November-2020. The RPF team collects the seat numbers of the lonely female passengers and further shares same with RPF personnel at corresponding stations. At destination, feedback from the identified passengers is collected for corrective response. Meri Saheli members also help women passengers in availing auto rickshaw, bus services and carrying belongings of elderly. 32 No of trains have been identifiedvulnerable with total 10 teams functioning over SWR (SBC-03, MYS-01 and UBL-06) consisting 79 RPF personnel deputed (SBC-25, MYS-14 and UBL-40). During the month of July-2025, 961trains have been attended over SWR (SBC-538, MYS-192 and UBL-231) and duly interacted with 24,958 lonely lady passengers.
4.Initiative action by RPF: -
· Operation ‘AMANAT’ (Securing and Returning Lost Property): Under this operation, on 63 occasions RPF personnel recovered leftover items of passengers valued ₹ 17,49,035/- (approx.) and hand over to its rightful owners.

·Operation Nanhe Faristey: (Rescuing Lost and Abandoned Children): Under this Operation, during the month of July-2025, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) successfully rescued a total of 95 children who had run away, comprising 26 girls and 69 boys and handed over to non-governmental organizations and law enforcement agencies.

·Operation Dignity: (Assisting Adults in Distress)- Under this operation in 07 occasions, 14 No. of elderly persons (Men-09, Women -05) rescued who are in need of care and protection.

·Operation ‘SATARK’(Curbing Smuggling and Tax Evasion:): -Under this Operation, in 06 occasions, RPF while performing train escort, picketing and platform duties, secured 110 different types of liquor bottles (61,500ml) valued ₹ 28,890/- and handed over to Excise Department for further legal action.
·Operation ‘NARCO’(Fighting the Menace of Drug Trafficking): Under this Operation, in the month of July-2025, 12 cases were detected, with seizure of 66.096 kg of Ganja, valued ₹ 50,42,610/-with the arrest of 06 offenders and handed over to Excise Department/GRP for further legal action.

·Yathri Suraksha:- Under this operation, 06 suspected ToPB offenders were apprehended on 05 occasions MYS (05) and handed over to the respective GRP units for legal action.
·RAIL SURAKSHA (Protecting Railway Assets): Under this operation, in the month of July-2025, 06 cases detected under RP(UP) Act, 13 offenders were arrested and 01 Nonbailable warrant accused were arrestedcorresponding prosecutions have been initiated.
·Janajagaran (Awareness Programme):- Under this operation 41 No.s of awareness programme was conducted at SBC-20 and MYS-21 in connection with the observance of International Level Crossing Awareness Day (ILCAD) – 2025 stone pelting incident, trespass and its legal consequences.
·Rail Prahari (Assisted to local/GRP for detection of Crime):-On 29.07.2025, Amrutha WC/349/ BYPL rendered medical assistance to a pregnant lady by name Ms. Archana Kumari (aged 23 years), who was suffering from labour pain, delivered a healthy baby boy on the station premises at SMVT Bengaluru Railway station. Further, called 108 ambulances and mother and child were safely shifted to C.V. Raman Hospital and both are healthy.

·BHOOMI (Encroachment of Railway land):-On 26.07.2025, RPF: IPF–1, SI–2, ASI–5, HC/CT–20, ESM–02 (Total – 30 including 4 WCTs), RPSF: IPF–1, SI–1, ASI–2, HC/CT–36 (Total – 40), Local Police (Baiyappanahalli): SI–2, ASI–2, HC/CT–5 (Total – 9) and GRP/BYPL: SI–3, ASI–8, HC/CT–23 (Total – 34) team under the supervision of Sr.DEN/South/SBC conducted an eviction drive against long-pending encroachment of Railway land at KM No. 205/400-500 between BPHI–CRLM Railway stations. The eviction/dismantling operation was completed peacefully. Two JCB machines were deployed and a three-storey concrete building was successfully dismantled.
·SANRAKSHA:-Under this operation 03 occasions, 01 case detected u/s 164 of Railways Act for arresting of 01 offender for carrying gas cylinder in between Khanapur and Desur Railway stations and 02 offenders arrested u/s 154 of Railways Act against stone pelting on trains.
·SEVA (Medical Assistance):- In 02 occasions RPF attended and rendered first aid to Injured 02 male passenger. Further they were sent to nearest hospitals.
