Profile of Principal Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer/SWR

                                           

                                            

Smt. Shobhna Gupta, from the IRSSE '89 Batch, brings extensive experience in various functional areas of Railways, encompassing signaling operations, construction, telecom, safety, vigilance, planning, and projects at Zonal and Divisional HQs on Western & West Central Railway and Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFCCIL).

Prior to joining South Western Railway as Principal Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer Smt. Shobhna Gupta held key positions such as Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer (Works) West Central Railway, Chief Signal Engineer, Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer Planning and Chief Vigilance Officer (S&T) Western Railway. She has played a pivotal role in implementing & pioneering Signalling technology across these Railways.

Smt. Shobhna Gupta is committed to driving excellence in Safety and enhancing operational efficiency in Railway operations. She holds a degree in Electronics & Communications from NIT Raipur,  Advanced Diploma in General Management and Executive MBA in Applied Finance & Supply Chain Management from NMIMS Mumbai. She has undergone Strategic Management training at ISB Hyderabad, INSEAD Singapore, ICLIF Malaysia and Specialized trainings in Freight Operations in Japan.
