Divisions

1.0 Bangalore Division came into existence on 11.05.1981.It was predominantly a MG & NG Division with little of BG, now entire        division has only BG route.It has both Electrified and Diesel Traction Routes.It was carved out from the erstwhile Mysore and        madras divisions.This is on a BG System and encompasses 15 districts of 3 States of India i.e.,Karnataka,Andhra Pradesh          and Tamil Nadu with 97 stations.
2.0 Karnataka             -   Bangalore Urban & Rural, Chikballapur, Kolar, Tumkur , Hassan ,Ramanagaram, Mandya, Mysore.
      Andhra Pradesh    -   Ananthpur , Chittoor, Hindupur. 
      TamilNadu             -    Krishnagiri , Dharmapuri , Salem, North Arcot.
3.0  The division has 1138.151 route kilometer of track , out of which 971.151 kilometers are in Karnataka,173 kilometers in       Tamil Nadu and 172 kilometers in Andhra Pradesh.
