Running staff of TRO department navigates both Diesel & Electric traction of around 150 express & 109 passenger trains for 1138 Kms over Bengaluru division and also another 729 Kms over adjacent (MYS, GTL, MAS & SA) divisions.
Primarily coordinates in moving freight traffic across adjacent divisions thus participating for economic and industrial progress of the country.
Caters to navigate premium trains such as Vande Bharath, Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Jan Shatabdi, Doranto, Garib rath, Humsafar, Double Decker, Suvidha, Golden Chariot express etc.,
Additionally monitors the healthy condition of AC Electric locomotives which arrives by coaching & freight trains at AC locomotive trip sheds.
