PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT, BANGALORE DIVISION, SWR

Appointments

In the last Financial Year, Bangalore division appointed 146 new employees across departments. Majority of the appointments were from RRC and RRB. The breakup is as follows

Promotions

It is the most important aspect of Human resource management, which helps in motivating the employees for achieving organizational goals. In this area, Bangalore division has done 1547 promotions in F.Y. 2021-22 which includes both selections and non-selections. In addition to this, 85 employees (on roll and retired) have benefitted from MACP.

100% selections in SBC division are being conducted through CBT.

PNM and FNM

Bangalore division has successfully conducted 1 PNM and 2 FNM meetings during last year for amicable resolution of staff issues. In PNM 92 issues were discussed and 17 are closed while in FNM meetings 76 issues were discussed and 37 are closed.

HRMS Progress

With the concerted efforts of all employees, Bangalore division has digitally o­n boarded all o­n-roll employees for HRMS based e-Passes. The division has issued more than 25000 digital passes. 98 % of APARs have been completed in HRMS and now 100% settlements & PF withdrawals are done o­n HRMS.

Mission Karmayogi

Total 1302 frontline staff of Operating and Commercial department has been trained in 14 batches to enable them to act o­n role instead of rule, to make Railways a customer friendly organization.

EVENTS ORGANIZED

 

As part of welfare activities, Bangalore division has organized various events whose details are as follows

A.130th Birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr.B.R.Ambedkar

On the occasion of 130th Birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr.B.R.Ambedkar, tribute paid to constitution man of India at the Foyer of Divisional Office foyer 15.04.2021.

B.COVID Vaccination camps

On 12.04.2021 & 20.04.2021 in association with CMS/ RH/ SBC COVID Vaccination camps were organized at SBC and other colonies for all Railway staff and their dependents.

C.International Yoga Day

All Officers/Supervisory staff of SBC division were advised to carry out International Yoga Day o­n 21 June 2021 duly following the instructions issue by Railway Board & AYUSH, Govt. of India and COVID norms.

D.FIT India run – Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

To commemorate the monumental occasion of 75th Independence Day, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav FIT India run was organized o­n 30.09.2021 & SBC division participated in the event duly following the COVID-19 protocol issued by GOI time to time.

E.Vigilance awareness week

On the eve of Vigilance awareness week, quiz Competition was conducted at division by personnel department theme being “Self-Reliance with Integrity”. It was planned from 26th October to November 1st.

F.Apprentice Mela

CSWI were sent to actively help prospective Act Apprentices register for Railways in the Apprentice Mela at 7 venues across the SBC division

G.Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Diwas

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Diwas was observed at division o­n 06.12.2021 at the foyer of DRM office building, Bengaluru duly following the covid-19 norms.

H.Pension Adalat

Pension adalat was conducted o­n 15.12.2021, in which about 82 cases were discussed and closed.

I.Karmik Sampark Abhiyana drive

Karmik Sampark Abhiyana” drive was organized to facilitate employees o­n their grievances at various stations over SBC division. Concerned cadre Officers cadre/bill clerks/Inspectors reached out to the employees at their stations to redress their grievance.

J.International women’s day

International women’s day was celebrated o­n 10th march 2022 with unprecedented women participation in cultural events. Breast Cancer Check up camps were organized for women employees.

K.Annual Inter Departmental Sports Meet

Annual Inter Departmental Sports Meet was successfully organized in march 2022 and had participation of more than 1400 employees across more than 11 sporting events across 38 categories.
