Shri Satya Prakash Shastri has taken over the charge of Principal Chief Commercial Manager, South Western Railway on 04.04.2023. Before taking over the charge of the post of Principal Chief Commercial Manager, SWR, he was holding the charge of the post of Chief Freight Transportation Manager in Southern Railway, Chennai. He has done B.Sc, Engg (Mech).
An Officer of 1990 batch of Indian Railway Traffic Services joined Railways on 11.10.1992. He has worked in various capacities viz. Chief Commercial Manager (Catering & Passenger Services), Chief Commercial Manager (Freight Marketing), Chief Freight Transportation Manager in South Western Railway & Executive Director/PP&D/RVNL.
Shri Satya Prakash Shastri is overall in-charge of entire Commercial Department in South Western Railway.
