Shri. S P S Gupta, has taken over as Chief Administrative Officer / Construction. South Western Railway, Bangalore Cantonment in September 2022. An IRSE Officer of 1985 Batch, he has about 35 years of diverse experience in Railway tracks, Bridges, Buildings, Planning, Design, safety and policy making. He has undertaken time bound Doubling, Bridge works and Gauge Conversion projects of Railways as Dy. Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer, Construction on Western Railway and Central Railway. He has worked in Indian Railway RDSO – Lucknow as Director (Track Design) and Sr. Prof. (Civil Engg.) in Railway Staff Copllege, Vadodara. He also worked on deputation as Chief Project Manager, Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation India Limited (DFCCIL). Prior to joining as CAO, Construction, Bangalore, he has worked as Principal Chief Safety Officer (NWR) & Principal Chief Engineer, South Western Railway at Hubballi.
