Remarks :-
The New BG Line between Kolar - Mulbagal has been sanctioned as a Material
Modification to Cuddappah - Bangalore New Line project (260 Km) executed by South
Central Railways.
SWR was asked by Railway Board to also execute Mulbagal - Madaghatta portion.
Accordingly a combined estimate was sanctioned for Kolar - Madaghatta.
Govt. Of AP vide Hon’ble Chief Minister letter dated 17.06.2021 has requested for the
change of alignment of this project to Kadapa-Muddanuru-Pulivendula-Muddiguba - Sri
Satya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam – Bangalore.
In view of the above, no work is being executed in South Cenral Railways in Kadapa –
Madagatta section.
SWR is waiting for the final outcome of the sanctioned work of Kadapa - Madagatta - Mulbagal - Bengaluru.
