  1. The doubling project has been sanctioned by Railway Board as per Pink book item No.36 of 2015-16.

  2. FLS sanctioned in Blue Book 15-16.

  3. The Detailed Estimate for Rs.1140.93 cr. has been submitted to Railway Board on 06.07.2015 and sanctioned vide letter dated 02.03.16.

  4. Tender for earthwork, major bridges, minor bridges and ballast for entire length for a value of Rs.520 cr. has been finalized and work has been started in these sections.Till date 14 lakh cum of earthwork on formation (bank and cutting) has been executed.

  5. Tender for track linking for 45 km targeted for 2017-18 has been finalized.

  6. The project is planned for commissioning by 2019-20.
