Bageshapura Railway Station, constructed in 1960, reflects a distinctive blend of colonial and vernacular architectural elements. The station building features a hybrid design typical of several vintage railway stations of the old Mysuru region. The central structure is built with a four-way Mangalore-tiled gable roof, each gable adorned with a circular glass window. The small verandas and the use of traditional Kadappa stone for flooring around the main structure highlight local architectural influences. At present, six trains are stopped at this station.
